“I learned that everyone is still learning. Having a great attitude, showing up prepared, and working hard will take you further than talent alone.”
“New Orleans groove is unlike anything else — it kicked my butt in the best way.”
“Even though it never came easy for me, guitar has always been something I could count on.
It’s an incredible language that connects people across the world.
The path is never ending, and that’s what makes it so beautiful.”

Daniel believes great gear should inspire musicians to play more, listen deeper, and explore creatively — never get in the way of the music.
Everything I teach came out of playing this music for a living first. Weddings, bars, jazz combos, up to 300 gigs a year across the Southeast, then New Orleans, where the groove kicked my butt in the best way.
In 2022 I put out my first solo record, with Jeff Sipe on drums and friends like Mark Lettieri and Tom Quayle sitting in.
Also on the record: Taylor Lee, Brad Walker, Billy Cardine and Matt Sickels.
